The Peking to Paris is one of the last great challenges left and this book does full justice to it. As an armchair traveller, it allowed me to experience the rally from the comfort of my home with day-by-day descriptions, interviews with all the participants and fabulous photography. This charity edition is particularly special as it features a limited cover with 'Never Give Up'. Highly recommended.

I would have appreciated being given details of the delivery company by you. Emails arriving unannounced from delivery companies are always suspect.

Having successfully completed a London /Sydney and a Carrera SudAmericana surely the P2P would be achievable even for a couple of more senior players, one as old as his car number!
Despite a small navigational error on the second day which nearly sent us back to Beijing on a high way we couldn’t get off for 70 k we finally got our team working .
Patrick has done an amazing job and the final result is a work of art which faithfully reflects the challenges and hardships of our incredible adventure.

Discovering the world with old motorcycles and classic cars is my passion. That is why I was also attracted to the books that Patrick published about his adventures during the Peking Paris rally. The photos breathe the spirit of adventure, the purity of untouched nature, the encounters with other cultures, all this combined with a vehicle without frills, electronics and modern gadgets. I hope to one day be allowed to go on this adventure, back to the essence of life!
